Individual Supervision
Attachment Based Play Therapy™ Supervisors are highly skilled at facilitating both the learning of the play therapy experience and process, and the personal and emotional development of the therapist. ABPT supervisors are focused on supporting the supervisee in developing a deeper understanding of both their clients’ and their own emotional experiences. In addition to providing didactic education/supervision, supervisees will process their own emotions as they come up in relationship with their clients. Supervisors will use role-play, videotape, sand, art, mindfulness, and other experiential modalities to help supervisees contemplate various aspects of their experiences.
